CeMiSt brings the photo exhibition 'World in a Drop' to DTU Bioengineering

On September 13th Professor Roberto Kolter and the CeMiSt center leader Lone Gram, inaugurated the photo exhibition “World in a Drop” at DTU Bioengineering. Both scientists coincide that the microbial world hidden under the microscope captivated their interest and curiosity for science. Making this invisible microbial world visible is not only beautiful but also a way of communicating to non-scientists.

The original exhibition was established in the Harvard Museum of Natural History by the photographer and scientist Scott Chimileski and Roberto Kolter himself. Now these beautiful photographs hang in the walls of the stairway of the building 221 located in the campus of the Technical University of Denmark in Lyngby (Denmark).

CeMiSt thanks the creators of the exhibition, the department for giving access to common spaces and the Danish National Research Foundation for supporting the exhibition through the CeMiSt center.
